Sydney contemporary 2022

Carriageworks, Sydney
8 – 11 September 2022

Group Exhibition

A Secondary Eye is pleased to exhibit at Sydney Contemporary 2022. As one of Australia’s few secondary market galleries, we have handled the sale of works by some of the country’s most important artists, and are thrilled to bring a number of outstanding paintings to the art fair.

We aim to support the secondary market for artists, which provides confidence to collectors in their purchases – not only with us, but with primary galleries as well. We believe it is important for an artist’s career that there is longevity in the engagement with older work, not just the work executed in the last year. This look to earlier works provides collectors with an opportunity to consider present works with greater context and understanding, which ultimately will foster a healthier art industry.
